Spear Chair and Zulu Warriro Chair
Digital Art by Mickey Bertram Jeppesen Jensen
Artist’s Statement:
My work connects the old Nordic traditions with a modern sculptural language. The Zulu Warrior Chair is a sculptural tribute to courage, heritage, and collective resilience. It honors the universal struggle for dignity and belonging — carved in oak as a dialogue between Nordic craftsmanship and global strength. Its structure combines raw power with elegance, symbolizing the inner architecture of endurance shared by all people. It speaks of legacy, survival, and unity — the unbreakable will to rise through adversity.
Spear Chair Spear Chair captures the essence of direction, precision, and clarity. Sculpted in solid oak, its sharp yet graceful lines echo the motion of a spear — energy condensed into stillness. The form speaks of purpose and focus — the moment before release — representing strength without aggression and progress without haste. Through minimalist tension and craftsmanship, the piece transforms raw material into a meditation on intention and control — a reminder that design, like life, moves forward through balance and aim.
