David Estringel, MFA

David Estringel is a Xicanx, Pushcart/BotN-nominated writer with words in The Opiate, Cephalopress, Dreich, The Milk House, Harpy Hybrid Review, Terror House Magazine, Expat Press, Literary Heist, Cowboy Jamboree, Sledgehammer Lit, Punk Noir Magazine, Beir Bua Journal, The Blue Nib, Drunk Monkeys, Red Fez, and more. David is a Professor of English in Central Texas, teaching Composition and Literature, as well as EIC at The Argyle Literary Magazine and Blood+Honey.

He has published five poetry collections: Indelible Fingerprints (Alien Buddha Press); Blood Honey, Cold Comfort House, and Blind Turns in the Kitchen Sink (Anxiety Press), and little punctures (Really Serious Literature). David has also published six poetry chapbooks: Punctures (Really Serious Literature); Peripheries (The Bitchin’ Kitsch); Eating Pears on the Rooftop (Finishing Line Press); Golden Calves and Blue (Back Room Poetry), Sour Grapes (Two Key Customs), and has his seventh (Brujeria) and eighth (Down the Bermuda Highway) scheduled for publication with Alien Buddha Press. David co-authored his first novel, Escaping Emily, in 2024, published by Thirty West Publishing.

Fiction Editor

A.A. de Levine's short stories and essays have appeared in Taco Bell Quarterly, New Gothic Review, Good Night Sweet Prince, Psycho Holosuite, Anti-Heroin Chic, NoSleep, and other places. She was a fiction editor at Coffin Bell Journal from 2020 until its final issue in 2025. 

She’s interested in voice, rhythm, surprise, and how you make sense of all this.

Mileva Anastasiadou

Flash Fiction Editor

Mileva Anastasiadou is a neurologist, from Athens, Greece and the author of Christmas People and We Fade With Time by Alien Buddha Press. A Pushcart, Best of the Net, Best Microfiction and Best Small Fictions nominated writer, her work has been selected for the Best Mirofiction anthology 2024 and Wigleaf Top 50 and can be found in many journals, such as the Chestnut Review, Necessay Fiction, Passages North, and others.
