Modern Day Celestina

by Guillermo Bowie

To actually survive certain acts

To still be participating in this plane of existence

With a modeled body upon the great classics of Greece and Rome

To be out in public in New York with her – on Prince or Canal Street arm in arm

With the modeled form from Judaic roots that displayed the finest attributes of that described

        Jewishness

Was a reflection that manifested at each turn made

A beauty that reached certain internal ideas that were mine as an individual

When your father came to visit the wedded couple

The selected form of indicating, pointing with the finger saying that that man out on the lawn

        was your father

And even to the heavens the fountain of Connecticut from which that amount of beauty derived was

        known

To pass our days in Washington Square next to Prince Street

As it had been your idea for us to move to Greenwich Village

Activities found in a third matrimony

Being within the natural state of imprisonment

Forming a modeled testimony of shared adventures

*****

Sobrevivir ciertas actividades
